Many important composers have expressed their enthusiastic appreciation of Roberto Fabbriciani - from Cage to Nono. The recital which Fabbriciani gave in Sogna exploited a variety of performing spaces - indoors and outdoors - within the village and was, in certain aspects, absolutely unrepeatable. A recording can not fully reproduce this effect, but the concert remains vividly impressed in the memories of those who were present. The lengthy recital program exhibits the flute in a wide variety of roles demonstrating its enormous potential and eliciting marvel for the wealth of the results obtained by this formidable performer during a "live" concert.
